Free Personal Polarion ALM Demos

Friday, January 18th, 2008

Through March, 2008 Polarion Software is offering a series of free personal online demos of Polarion ALM 3.0.

If you already use Polarion ALM, you probably don’t need to participate in these, but we would certainly appreciate you passing the word along to colleagues or contacts who might be interested. We should stress that these demos are personal and 2-way: only the registrant and anyone he/she chooses to have sit in will be present in the approximately 45-minute session, and participants will have the opportunity to discuss their own situations with a member of the Polarion Professional Services team, and ask questions.

Available dates/times, plus a sign-up form are on the web at www.polarion.com/products/alm/demo_registration.php

SVN Express has arrived!

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

Just a quick post to let you know that we’ve just released SVN Express by Polarion®. Designed for people who aren’t yet using Subversion but would like to check it out, SVN Express contains Subversion and everything you need to run it on Windows®, all in a single FREE download. No need to hunt all over for the right infrastructure software. The archive contains it, and the Windows installer program installs and configures Subversion, Apache, and everything else needed. SVN Express is, quite simply, the fastest, easiest way to get Subversion up and running.

Also in the bundle are some free and/or open source tools, such as data mirgrators and SVN clients, to help SVN newcomers get the most from Subversion - again, without the need to hunt all over the internet for individual tools and components. There’s even a copy of SubTrain, Polarion’s open source training materials to help SVN newbies ramp up fast.

For the complete rundown on what’s in SVN Express visit www.polarion.com/products/svn/svn_express.php. Download it at www.polarion.com/downloads/svn.php.

We realize that may readers of this blog already use SVN (hopefully in conjunction with Polarion products!) But if you know of anyone who’s been kicking around the idea of moving to Subversion, we’d appreciate it if you would point them to SVN Express as a fast easy way to get started. Thanks!
