Morris Medical Monthly: RiskPack Data Type "Risk Control Measure"

By morrisd

Welcome back to Morris Medical Monthly: a recurring series for medical device development companies – and companies who are related to such companies – providing useful information about Polarion solutions and extensions.

Today we will discuss the subject of Polarion’s RiskPack extension, and have a look at RiskPack Data Types.

Data Type “Risk Control Measure” (riskControlMeasure)

During risk control, risk control measures are analyzed and defined. The RiskPack provides the workitem type
Risk Control Measure for this purpose. Risk Control Measures are linked to the risks they mitigate.
For being able to work properly, the RiskPack expects Sequence of Events workitems to meet the requirements
listed below:

Required Custom Fields:

  • none

Considered Linking Schemes:

  • Mitigates (riskpack_mitigates) –> Risk (risk)

  • Implemented by (riskpack_implemented_by) –> arbitrary type (possible and most likely in other projects)

  • Implementation verified by (riskpack_implemented_by) –> arbitrary type (possible and most likely in other
    projects)

  • Effectiveness validated by (riskpack_effectiveness_validated_by) –> arbitrary type (possible and most
    likely in other projects)
