The Results are In! POP Challenge 2012 Winner Revealed

By JustineB

This summer, we have worked diligently to expand our interactions with the Polarion Community.  The POP challenge contest was open to anyone interested in submitting a software app or extension around Polarion products that can be used by our community of over one million users.  The POP challenge has had a strong response within the community, resulting in a record number of quality submissions, making it difficult to determine a winner.  However, after much deliberation we have finally chosen the winners for POP Challenge 2012.

First place—an Apple iPad plus $10,000 worth of Polarion product licenses for the winner’s company

First prize winner goes to Manuel Sprock (Phoenix Contact) for “Code Review,” an app that provides a workflow for code reviews based on linked revisions.

Second place—an Apple iPod Touch plus $5,000 worth of Polarion product licenses for the winner’s company

Second prize winner goes to Sven-Jürgen Lämke for “Wiki Macro to visualize Polarion Workflow,” a macro to automatically draw a workflow defined within Polarion using the workflow manager or the workflow xml-file of the work item.

Congratulations to our contest winners and kudos to all those who submitted such quality applications, which made it exceptionally difficult to choose a contest winner.   Feel free to try out these free extensions,  other available extensions, and all of our new submissions!
